Volunteering is one of the most important ways that citizens can actively assist the development of a civil society. 

For some, the desire to volunteer comes from naturally wanting to help others, for others it is about doing good things to feel good about themselves, but in either case Hands On Hong Kong would like to welcome you.

On our Latest Opportunies and Calendar pages, you will find flexible volunteer opportunities sponsored by HOHK that are typically one-off in nature and designed to meet the needs of all Hong Kong residents, whether you’re a busy working professional, student, or parent, or a newcomer to Hong Kong.

There are also Additional Opportunities which list some of the other volunteer needs for our charity partners. Many of these opportunities require a longer term commitment than the sponsored activities listed in the calendar.
